Envelope Quality
Envelopes are available in a variety of weights from lightweight envelopes (70gsm) to 140gsm which would be considered a heavy or high quality paper. The higher the gsm of the envelope the higher the quality of the envelope. Depending on your required envelope quality or desired presentation we stock a wide range of envelopes for you to choose from.
Envelope Seal Types
Gummed Envelopes There are 4 main envelope seal types including gummed, self seal, peel & seal & extra strong peel & seal provided by Power Tac.
Gummed Envelopes
Gummed envelopes are the most common sealing type. Simply moisten the adhesive layer along with the envelope & simply press to seal the envelope. Once these envelopes are stored correctly they can last a number of years.
Self Seal Envelopes
Self seal envelopes have risen in popularity because they contain a two latex strip that simply bond together once pressed. Once sealed tightly the envelope cannot be opened without causing damage or disturbance.
Peel & Seal Envelopes
Peel & Seal envelopers are one of the most secure ways to send postage. They contain a latex strip that is covered by a protective seal. Once the seal is removed & pressed it will make a secure bond without applying moisture.
